When can I go on a tour?
Anytime! Tours are offered at multiple times daily from March 1st to November 30th. We do require advance reservations (even if you have a gift certificate).
How old do I have to be to go on tour?
We require riders to be 12 years of age or older!
Why do you require reservations?
Our tours often fill up, so calling early ensures a spot!
What extras are included in the tour?
Training by Segway professionals, snacks and beverages during our mid-tour break, discount coupons for local restaurants. We even offer a free admission pass to the Mill City Museum, as well.
Where do I go for my tour?
Both Minneapolis tours depart from our Minneapolis Tour Office at 125 Main St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414. For our St. Paul Tours, you will meet at the St. Paul Curling Club: 470 Selby Ave, St Paul, Minnesota 55102. Get Directions.
What if I’m nervous about riding a Segway?
Don’t be! Our expert guides train thousands of riders every year so you are in good hands. Give it a try! On the rare occasion that a guest is still nervous after safety training, we will gladly refund the tour.
What is your cancellation policy?
No problem. Cancel your reservation on the public tours up to 48 hours before the tour with no penalty.
What about the private tour cancelation policy? What about cancelling within 48 hours?
When you reserve a tour, we schedule our highly trained guides and support staff to make your Segway adventure as amazing as possible. For this reason we require 10 days (for Private Tours) notice for cancellations and rescheduling of tours. If you fail to meet your appointment, we still incur the same expenses and may have turned others away. Therefore, those guests who fail to show for a reservation or cancel without proper notice will be charged the full tour price for the reserved spaces.
What if there is severe weather?
We will run tours in light rain (we provide rain ponchos). The Segway is just as waterproof as any other vehicle. We will not run tours in hazardous storms with thunder and lightning or if there is snow or ice on the ground. Minnesota weather is as unpredictable as any other place, so rest assured you will not be charged if Mother Nature tells us the tour cannot safely depart. Please call first if you have concerns about the weather. We are constantly monitoring the radar when weather looks threatening and we will call only if we are certain your tour will not run. Frequently, thunder storms blow over quickly and we are able to depart a few minutes after the scheduled time.
